Summer Vegetable Tart with Dijon Mustard and Comté Cheese
HERE ARE THE REQUIRED INGREDIENTS:
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 zucchini
- 1 tomato
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 red onion
- 100g grated Comté cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Some fresh basil leaves
THE STEPS:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Step 2: Wash the vegetables, then cut the zucchini and tomato into thin slices, deseed and cut the pepper into thin strips, and finely chop the red onion.
Step 3: Unroll the puff pastry (for those few who haven't made it themselves) on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, or in a tart pan. Remember to prick the pastry with a fork to prevent it from puffing up too much during baking.
Step 4: Spread the Dijon mustard evenly over the puff pastry and arrange the zucchini slices, tomato slices, pepper strips, and finely chopped onions in a harmonious way. Season to your taste and finish by drizzling a light drizzle of olive oil over the tart for a Provencal touch.
Step 5: Generously sprinkle grated Comté cheese over the vegetables. And bake the tart for about 20-25 minutes. Take the tart out of the oven and sprinkle it with some fresh basil leaves to add a touch of freshness! Easy and quick to make, there is no doubt that this tart will accompany you all summer long! Yes, even during the summer, Burgundian flavors continue to delight us. Enjoy your meal!
