In Dijon, donating blood is saving lives (and having a good time)

It’s not always easy to feel useful every day. And yet, in Dijon, it only takes a few minutes to make a real difference. Every day, thousands of people depend on a blood transfusion to live. Accident victims, cancer patients, women after complicated childbirth… sometimes, all these lives depend on a simple donation.

Good news: on the occasion of the World Blood Donor Days, the French Blood Establishment is organizing a big blood drive at two iconic locations in Dijon. The goal is clear: to gather 1,000 donors in 5 days.

Two options for donating blood in Dijon:

  • At the Auditorium of the Dijon Opera, on June 11 and 12 from 11 AM to 6:30 PM.

Blood donation + activities = a great deed in a friendly atmosphere at an amazing place. Reserve a slot.

  • Giving Blood in Dijon: It's Easy and Not Just for Others

Too often, we think it's the other people who will give. That we don't have time. That we’re not sure if we’re eligible. In reality, giving blood is simple, quick, regulated, and accessible. You just need to be between 18 and 70 years old, weigh at least 50 kg, and not be fasting.

And if you’ve already donated? Go for it again! The human body can regenerate blood components really quickly. In just a few weeks, everything goes back to normal. And most importantly, one donation can help up to three patients.

For those who can’t donate: you can still play an essential role by sharing the information with those around you. Let your loved ones, colleagues, and friends know! Businesses and associations can also reserve group slots or share the message through their channels. It’s a straightforward initiative that makes a difference!

    to make a real difference.

From June 10 to 14, Dijon is meeting with solidarity.

Whether it's to give, give back, or spread the word, everyone has a role to play. What if we made Dijon the most mobilized city in France this week?
