The cultural venue Le Cèdre is back for a new season with an eclectic lineup: music, comedy, theater, circus, dance and so much more. Since the arrival of new director Frédéric Ménard, the stated goal is to break down barriers between genres and offer a season that's more open, more vibrant, and designed for all audiences.
Le Cèdre's must-see events in Chenôve this season
Among the headliners of this new programming, Le Cèdre kicks off the season with a free concert on September 19 by Mariam. A vibrant tribute to Amadou & Mariam, performed by one of the iconic voices of the celebrated duo.
The 2026-2027 season continues with several major events, starting with David Castello-Lopes, a comedian and creator with a distinctive style, taking the stage on September 24, 2026. Benjamin Biolay will also be performing in concert on October 30, 2026, bringing his usual elegance and a repertoire that spans his different artistic periods.
On the circus side
Urban music, Youssoupha, an unmissable voice in French rap, will perform on December 11, 2026. Médine will offer an acoustic concert on February 17, 2027, in a more stripped-down version of his universe.Finally, the Paname Comedy Club will also be there on May 11, 2027, with a selection of stand-up from the current scene.
These names add to a lineup that continues to juggle between circus, dance, and offbeat musical projects, in keeping with a venue that loves when genres blend and break free from convention.
