A New Dauphine in the Heart of Dijon
Remember the old Centre Dauphine and its rather chilly atmosphere… Forget all that. As Marc Fortunato, president of Dauphine Invest explains, “We no longer go to the Centre Dauphine, but to Dauphine Dijon.” Behind this name change lies a true promise: to provide the people of Dijon with a modern, bright, and welcoming space that connects with the city.
With its 4,500 m² of shops, Dauphine Dijon is set to become a new hot spot right in the heart of the city. The building's center has been redesigned as an open sky space, featuring sleek materials, geometric lines, and hanging greenery. Rue Dauphine continues inside the site to blur the lines between shopping, strolling, and relaxation. In short, it's a complete overhaul aimed at attracting all generations.
New stores in Dijon that are going to win us over
Let’s be honest, the reopening of Fnac on September 25 is going to be a lifesaver for many, especially since the old location has closed. But that’s just the beginning! Store openings will be rolling out in the coming weeks, and we’re particularly excited about Søstrene Grene, set to open on September 26. Following that: Kave Home, perfect for giving your apartment a décor makeover without leaving the…e downtown.

And that's not all. On the food side, we can count on the duo Alexandre Hulin and Jean-Charles Vernaud (Mac Callaghan, Speakeasy, Paulette…) to delight the people of Dijon. We trust them to create a simple and friendly place, perfect for a drink with friends or a family dinner without having to spend your whole paycheck to grab a bite. And because…never says no to a little height, the project also includes a real rooftop with a breathtaking view of Dijon, and that's amazing!
A project that takes its time
While Dauphine Dijon starts to unveil this autumn, we'll have to wait until early 2026 for the official inauguration and the complete realization of the project. In the meantime, each announced opening is accompanied by a wave of excitement and impatience. It's a teasing strategy that plays a bit with our nerves… but it mainly makes us eager to go check it out starting September 25.
