Today, we know that there are ways to donate your hair when you cut it, to create wigs for people who are sick. However, it’s not always easy to find a hairdresser who accepts, an association to send the locks to, and often it’s just simpler to give up on this wonderful project. Fortunately, in March, the Toison d’Or makes it easy for you by offering a chance for hair donation for 2 days. Let us explain everything.

On Friday, March 7, and Saturday, March 8, the AVEC la Deuche rose association and the Pop Hair Dijon salons will set up in the Toison d’Or walkways for a special event. The program includes a 15-minute haircut (perfect for people in a hurry or during a shopping spree), with one main goal: to collect locks for creating wigs for those in need.
And the great news in all of this is that all hair types are welcome here. Colored, treated, or natural, it doesn't matter. The only condition is that the cut section must be more than 10 cm long. During each 15-minute slot, available between 10 am and 1 pm and 2 pm and 6 pm, professionals will offer you a hair trimming, by appointment through the Toison d'Or website. Some walk-in slots will also be available, but be careful, as it’s limited to available spots! And we provide you with all the info, right here.

As good news never comes alone, in addition to this wonderful event, the To...Ison d’Or invites you to join us for early March for several free workshops focused on well-being and fashion, all about feeling good in your body and mind. On Wednesday, March 5, in the afternoon, Clin d'œil will be there for eyeglass frame repairs. The following day, we’ll meet with Aroma-Zone for some face and hair treatments. Then, on the 7th, we’ll continue with Primark for a DIY sewing workshop, perfect for second-hand lovers and those who enjoy customizing. To wrap it all up beautifully, join us on the afternoon of the 8th for some vegan hair treatments with Kiko Milano. And during these 4 days, from Wednesday 5th to Saturday 8th, Ulrich de Brosse ta sneakers will be waiting for you with free sneaker cleaning sessions!
