What is a Bib Gourmand (and why should you care)?
We all know the famous Michelin stars, which symbolize high gastronomy and often come with a hefty price tag. But the Bib Gourmand rewards a completely different pleasure: that of enjoying good food without breaking the bank. Specifically, this Michelin Guide label highlights places that offer a complete menu (starter, main course, dessert) at an affordable price — around 40 euros in the regions and 45 euros in Paris.
In short, the Bib Gourmand is like the official good deal for savvy food lovers. And this year, there’s only one restaurant in Dijon that snagged this coveted recognition: Cave, the super friendly eatery by Angelo Ferrigno.

Cave: the only Bib Gourmand 2025 in Dijon
If this name rings a bell, that's totally normal: Angelo Ferrigno is the star chef behind Cibo, just across from Cave on Jeannin Street. With Cave, he wanted to create a more laid-back spot, where gastronomy comes without fuss, at (almost) sweet prices.
At lunchtime, a unique menu at €30 already has all of Dijon drooling. Ultra-fresh products sourced from within 200 km, top-notch expertise, and a warm atmosphere: that's all it took to win over the Michelin inspectors. And we can't help but swoon too.
In the evening, the vibe changes, making way for sharing plates. Here, we toast, nibble, and laugh: Cave is the table that knows how to enjoy life.
