The new brunch-lovers' paradise is called Blue Velvet. In reference to the American film, this new Bordeaux spot will reign as master just a few steps away from the Grosse Cloche.

Ding, dong! Let's meet at 35 Saint-James Street to discover the city's first brunch bar. Led by Clara and Julie, two 25 and 26-year-old entrepreneur friends, this restaurant is 100% specialized in serving brunch continuously, all day long. After several months of work and growing curiosity among passersby, it's time to unveil the future most popular gourmet address in town.

"All day brunch" and free wifi

So it will be called Blue Velvet. With its night-time vibe, and offering free wifi, this place ticks all the boxes from morning till night. Working over coffee, sipping a cocktail at happy hour, indulging in a late brunch after a (boozy) night out... Everything will be possible, with joy and good spirits. More than just a restaurant, its founders describe it as "a place of social and cultural exchange". The music will resonate with music lovers and the monthly events organized will show that the two owners have many capabilities.

But what will make our hearts beat the fastest? The menu, of course! While the secret is still well kept for now, we can already tell you that the brunch classics will be well represented. Served continuously from 10am to 6pm, you'll find pancakes, waffles, savory and sweet brioches with a hint of originality. Including inspirations from different world cuisines. Those in a hurry can opt for hearty sandwiches to enjoy on the spot or to take away. And since Blue Velvet is also a bar, the menu features a "Topshare" section with small sharing plates. While our curiosity is at its peak, we will still have to wait until January 22nd to discover this colorful new spot.
