This waterfall is located in the Chêneraie Park in Gujan-Mestras. To get there, you have to walk along the banks of the Canal des Landes, which connects the fresh waters of Lake Cazaux to those of the Arcachon Basin. This stroll allows you to admire the clear waterfalls of the old locks destroyed during the war. The Canal des Landes is an artificial waterway, a vestige of Vauban, which was supposed to connect the Arcachon Basin to Bayonne through the Landes ponds.
