A Fun and Playful Atmosphere

This is the latest addition from the Le Coq group, who have already made their mark in the city with places like the guinguette in Villenave-d'Ornon, the Bistrot des Girondins in Mérignac, and the brasserie Le Coq in Bègles... The Bal opened its doors on December 20th like a little early Christmas present.

While there are plenty of dance spots along the Garonne river or on the docks, this one chose the city center and the famous Rue Piliers de Tutelle to get the people of Bordeaux jumping. Like a small 80s disco bar, where neon colors mix with sparkling boas, this new retro bar invites us to dance to a mix of mainstream music, disco, and French pop. The classics keep coming, while the guests seated at tables or in the middle of the dance floor belt them out at the top of their lungs.

Tapas and 80s music lead the dance

Small in size but big in character, the bar with the bright yellow storefront (obviously not chosen at random) is made up of 3 spaces. The main area on the ground floor with the DJ and main bar, a privatizable room upstairs (with a private bar), and a basement cellar for dancing in the shadows.

With the heart of creating a new place for sharing where people mix, founder Romain attracts a clientele of thirtysomethings. Far from the trendy dance bars frequented by the privileged youth, this one focuses on intergenerational mixing.

At the Rooster's Ball, there's no question of going to bed early like the chickens!

To satisfy its guests, the Rooster's Ball has come up with a quality snack menu. On the menu? Tapas, mixed charcuterie and cheese boards, Iberian croquettes, crispy chicken, vegetable samosas, pan con tomate, and even a sliced entrecote to share with homemade fries for those with a big appetite. On the sweet side, the dancers rush for the chocolate mousse or the sweet platter to fill their cravings.

By focusing on a new and naughty gourmet destination, the youngest of the group starts his adventure with great success, boasting a very encouraging attendance. Just a few weeks after its opening, it is already fully booked on some usually quiet evenings. At the Rooster's Ball, the night naturally extends and there's little chance of going to bed early like the chickens!
