Exception Cabaret: A place of sharing between stage and audience
Opened 3 years ago in Saint-Medard-en-Jalles, 14 km from Bordeaux, Exception Cabaret offers a new proposition. With the aim of breaking the codes and moving away from the traditional format where spectators remain seated throughout the performance, this artistic and uninhibited living space allows all guests to be part of the show. Dancing, moving, letting yourself be captivated by the magic of the stage without any particular restrictions.
Burlesque nights, Dj sets, Comedy Club...
This new format of "living cabaret" is led and embraced by Aurélien Alberge, a classically trained ballet dancer with a contemporary flair. After training at the Paris Opera, Biarritz, Monte Carlo, and gracing the stage of the Lido de Paris, he draws from his extensive experiences to once again break free from traditional norms and venture away from the classical by launching an innovative concept.
Open 3 days a week from Thursday to Saturday, the Exception Cabaret organizes cabaret nights with 3 dancers, 1 singer, and 1 circus artist on stage. From 7 pm to midnight, the 5 artists offer a modern cabaret show where sequins, frills, various fantasies, and comic exchanges are a must. Working on a rich and varied program that ranges from burlesque nights, cabaret shows, concerts, DJ sets (every weekend after the show starting at 11 pm), and Comedy Club... The 34-year-old founder is full of ideas to bring his artistic gem to life. Enjoy! ❤️🎉
An ever-present show: from stage to the room
In an intimate decor, with black and gold tones, the Exception Cabaret brings all its guests together around a large central bar with a flair bartender who - also - adds to the entertainment. This passionate mixologist juggles while preparing signature cocktails or creations. Around large high tables, or cozy small lounges, the cabaret bar offers charcuterie platters, cheese platters, or vegetarian options with a lovely selection of desserts to charm its guests. Forget about the dragging meal where you fall asleep, at the Exception Cabaret the idea is more to have fun!
