A hotel with a "vacation home" vibe
With the same family atmosphere, a few additional rooms, and physical transformations that embrace the Neo-Basque style and decor signed by local designers (the Bordeaux architecture agency Crème et Rose Design)... The new setting breaks free from luxury codes while maintaining its standard. The primary DNA of the GINTO group (also the owner of the Grand Hôtel Français and the Gambetta in Bordeaux) focuses on human connection.
Reopened in April, the new version of the hotel Saint-Julien will quickly establish itself as a trendy and must-visit spot in the Basque city. Not to mention its eco-responsible character. Because, while it has all the latest trends, the establishment has its green touch: a "green path" to avoid daily changing of bed linen and towels.Liettes, the gradual elimination of plastic and the use of rechargeable eco-packaging for its complimentary products.©Hôtel Saint-Julien
The raw charm of neo-Basque plays with modernity
Now the hotel offers 26 rooms, including 6 renovated ones, able to accommodate up to 4 people (starting from €140 per night). 4 of them have their own private outdoor space. Timeless, contemporary, and bathed in natural light, they welcome visitors in a cozy ambiance inspired by soothing tones where it's pleasant to stay.

A sunny rejuvenation
The hotel's common areas have also been redesigned and infused with energy to warmly welcome its guests from the moment they arrive. With a vintage spirit, the furniture highlights unique finds, custom creations, and natural materials. The breakfast room boasts a more tangy look. Perfect for welcoming guests in the morning around its buffet served indoors or outdoors (on the green terrace) every morning from 7:45 to 10:30 with local treats and fresh products.

Some typical attributes of the neo-Basque house have been preserved, such as the moldings and old wooden floors. The basement, on the other hand, has been rearranged to accommodate the luggage storage. Special mention for the characteristic facade of Basque houses with its whitewashed walls, red shutters and awnings, and its name displayed on the pediment. No doubt about the roots of the building! Welcome to immersion in Euskadi. And to celebrate its way of life, the hotel also has its cocktail bar signed by the alchemist Jérémy Lauilhé. A real fountain of youth awaits us in this charming house praised for its dream location and warm welcome.
