The Church

A fun new ritual is in place to access this truly hidden last associative bar. And why, you may ask? Well, to step into the new eden of sound religion, you must be acquainted with one of the trustworthy apostles. To keep things hush-hush, the venue relies solely on good old word of mouth. And that's how a community has formed, away from the rowdy night scene, where the vibe is serene and the festivities are top-notch. The Church stays open until 4am, catering to just 55 handpicked individuals. Like any good ol' associative bar, there's a membership fee (€10 for the whole year). With 3 rooms boasting different vibes, a selection of top-notch local beverages, and an exciting lineup, this place is on a mission to revamp the scene. A new hotspot for Bordeaux's nightlife has surfaced. Now the only thing left to do is find that door. It's your move now!

The Symbiosis

In the back of this restaurant, you'll find a large clock. This decorative object hides a cocktail bar. Once inside, you land in an old Bordeaux wine cellar tastefully decorated. Exposed stones, wooden ceiling, vaults, round tables, and Scandinavian chairs lend charm to this bar that also serves delicious tapas (pintxos, cromesquis...). As for the atmosphere, it's soft lighting and eclectic music that bring life to this intimate cave. The new menu inspired by myths and deities is worth trying.

The Red Dot

Located in a majestic Bordeaux castle, this cocktail bar offers tempting drinks at unbeatable prices. When you walk along the Quai de Paludate and come face to face with the Chateau Descas and its dark past, you might miss it. Today recognized, this address by the Garonne river manages to remain discreet, and truer than some. Leather sofas, exposed beams and stones add charm to the Point Rouge, which also serves tapas to accompany the cocktails.

House Julien

The latest addition to Rue Bouffard and the Gambetta neighborhood, Maison Julien quickly caught attention with its unique concept: a wine bar, tapas bar, and antique shop. Opened last summer, it quickly won over patrons with its warm atmosphere, refined decor (you can even take home a 1950s sofa), and a menu of gourmet tapas from local producers. But the highlight is tucked away in the basement, where 2 ultra-intimate cellars are regularly privatized for birthdays or host party-goers for DJ set nights. A discreet lair where you can enjoy good food, drinks, and dancing.

L'apotheck

In trendy dark blue and yellow colors, this chill bar offers DJ sets from Thursday to Saturday as well as themed evenings. A beautiful bench, velvet armchairs, and a red brick wall in the background give it a very chic look. The Apotheck has just launched its new menu with many cocktails. We love its intimate and cozy atmosphere. Who said that a discreet spot couldn't be successful?!
