The Editor

The Mad Vintage group is a true reference in the landscape of old-school ready-to-wear. Created 10 years ago by Eugénie and her husband, the group had 30 stores in France. But that was before Covid and its devastating effects for retailers emerged. Now, the brand still has 7 stores in Lille, Grenoble, Dijon, Rouen, Caen, Brest... And Bordeaux, of course! The company's headquarters and its 6000 m2 factory are located in Rouen.

Vintage: The Trend of the Moment!

The one located at 142 Rue Sainte-Catherine, a highly coveted location, opened 5 years ago. A cult reference for those who love to hunt for treasures, it offers a wide catalog of pieces to dress up (or should I say, ENHANCE) mixed silhouettes. Clothing, accessories, glasses, shoes, leather goods, scarves, belts, ties ... You can find everything you need to refresh your wardrobe without breaking the bank right here. But not just anything! The success of Mad Vintage is owed to its teams who work tirelessly to find THE gems that everyone is after.

Shop Codes with Thrift Store Prices

It is important to know that the teams buy a large quantity of clothes from wholesalers before they are hand-sorted in the factory. All items are dry cleaned before being sold. Often associated with thrift stores, the shops still follow the codes with tagged products, tailored items that smell like fresh laundry.

From Lacoste sweaters, to high-waisted Levi's jeans, to vintage Adidas jackets or lumberjack-style plaid shirts ... The latest trends are in the spotlight. Eugénie, the founder, explains: "Vintage is not about dressing up, it's an ethical, reasoned, and ecological consumption that can still follow the major fashion trends".

The clientele is as diverse as the pieces in the shop. From 12 to 77 years old, despite a core target audience.young and urban. From the fashionista, to those on a tight budget looking for affordable brand-name sweatshirts, not to mention students updating their wardrobes... Mad Vintage is a must for everyone. Its industrial setting and decor are to die for. The quality playlist adds a nice touch. And the ultra-reasonable prices that punctuate the labels are enough to put the competition to shame. Count on 5€ for a scarf, 40€ for a 60s perfecto jacket, and up to 90€ for an iconic bomber jacket.
