Carte Noire infuses urban art in Bordeaux
For its second edition in France, Carte Noire has chosen to settle in the wine district of the city. With the aim of showcasing emerging urban art artists, it will open its ephemeral café. A unique place with an amazing program that highlights showcases, talks, initiations, artistic and musical performances focused on the three major disciplines of the field: street art, hip-hop, and rap. Not to mention the creation of a limited collection of mugs sourced and redesigned by street artist Jace, with sales benefiting Emmaüs Alternatives.

A street art temple in an old Post office warehouse
Just like a letter in the mail, the brand chose an old abandoned warehouse on Cours Édouard Vaillant to open its spot. A real launching pad for expression with a raw and concrete character, the urban café Carte Noire will offer an immersive experience, featuring large street art murals and scenographies.
Renowned artists are expected to make the place shake and illuminate it. Among them? The rapper Lujipeka, "Francophone Revelation of the Year" at the NRJ Music Awards, the rapidly rising hip-hop dancer Salif Gueye, and Jace, a major figure in French street art. A true showcase for today's and tomorrow's artists.©Carte Noire
An ephemeral coffee experience without filter
Building on its initial positioning, the brand will place coffee at the heart of the experience. On-site, it will take on all forms to merge with urban art. Smells, tastes, textures, sounds, vibrations, to create a living space where one can find oneself, where art and coffee become a breath of fresh air in an overloaded daily life, a pause, a moment of respite. Tastings and workshops around coffee will be offered, as well as a varied selection of hot drinks and cocktails, based on coffee as well. The flavor of the bean will also be on the plate with a menu of finger foods and tapas, prepared with seasonal products.
