An emblematic property of the Médoc
Just 40 minutes from the center of Bordeaux, at the gateway to the Médoc, the Château Cantemerle is one of the oldest estates in the Bordeaux region. The production of its wines goes back over 7 centuries, according to the earliest writings found from the Middle Ages. In 1855, its inclusion in the classification of Grands Crus confirmed the excellence of its terroir.

A park ranked among the most beautiful in the Bordeaux region
The estate opens up to a 28-hectare park, designed in the 18th century and then redesigned by Louis-Bernard Fischer, the creator of Bordeaux's Public Garden. This true botanical gem boasts an extraordinary wealth of flora: giant plane trees, Second Empire magnolias, centuries-old yews, and the unusual giant fern Osmunda regalis, a rarity that gives the site a Jurassic-era vibe.

Among paths, water features, and romantic clearings, Cantemerle offers a haven of biodiversity: blackbirds (whose song gave the estate its name), owls, herons, squirrels, foxes, and deer find refuge here. It's a peaceful and enchanting atmosphere that resonates with the beauty of the vineyard.

Immersive workshops for everyone
This exceptional garden theater is the setting for botanical walks and workshops, sensory experiences, and refreshing strolls. Specially designed workshops ignite children's curiosity, helping them discover the flavors, secrets, and powers of the plant world.
