Meat Lovers' Paradise in Bordeaux

Head to  Rue du Palais de l'Ombrière, in the heart of Bordeaux, to discover this paradise of good food. Since June 2021, the restaurant Brutus has been rekindling the flame of the historic neighborhood with a menu 100% dedicated to matured meats.

Choices include aged, matured beef, well-raised from Scotland with the "Aberdeen" breed, straight from Denmark with the "Swami", from Germany with the "Noire de Baltique", from Japan with the famous "Wagyu", or from France with the tender "Normande". A true mouthwatering around the world.

From meats to cutting, each with its own story

All meats are served with homemade fries (or homemade mash, truffle option or seasonal vegetables with a supplement) and a salad from Gironde. The principle is simple, the customer chooses the piece of their choice from the maturation cellar and the team takes care of cutting it in the dining room. Before telling its story to the amazed and delighted customers, spectators.

Of course, the owner attaches particular importance to the wine bottles that accompany the dishes. So you will find nearly 250 references of white wines (sweet or not), rosés, reds and a selection of exceptional wines.

A curious and respectful restaurant

There is a small menu of dishes (meat or veggies) punctuated by the beef Rossini with merlan, the eight-hour pork ribs, or truffle pasta. Lucas De Castro, the 27-year-old young owner, has thought of everything. And his restaurant will be inclusive.

His ambition? To make his establishment a bridge between farmers and your platesBrutus strives to be a restaurant with quality products from responsible and caring suppliers in their selection of farmers. Each item brought to the table has a story behind it. All in a simple and warm atmosphere. Mission accomplished!
