Despite a reputation and success well earned, the Mama Shelter Bordeaux rooftop doesn't hesitate to put in the effort to keep things fresh. This is evident with the addition of barbecues on the menu and DJ sets to reignite the flame of the trendiest panoramic spot in the Sleeping Beauty city.

A top-flight program to reach cloud nine

Perched on the 6th floor of the Starck-stamped design hotel, amidst colorful buoys and cushions, facing an unobstructed view of the Saint André Cathedral, the Mama Shelter rooftop fulfills all our desires for unique evenings. With a summer program that highlights barbecues at lunchtime or tapas DJ sets in the evening, the surprise is always there no matter the time. Let's hope it becomes memorable.

With its 2 new highlights: open-air barbecue (on reservation from 12pm to 3pm) which reignites the flame of the week or Sunset Party with live DJ (from 6pm to 10pm from Thursday to Saturdaywithout reservation), the people of Bordeaux will no longer have to choose between lunchtime and evening...

The first rooftop barbecues in Bordeaux

Rooftop gatherings combine indulgence and epicureanism. Here at Mama, the art of living is shared and enjoyed. The tapas menu is filled with generous and sun-drenched dishes like "houmous", "baba ganoush", "labneh", "trio de mezzés", or the more French-style platter. Another signature of the establishment? Its amazing cocktails, with a mix of unique creations and classic favorites expertly crafted with love by the team behind the bar.

Open-air tapas and gourmet meals on the ground floor

Then comes the second round. Under the last rays of the sun, customers slowly make their way to the ground floor to end the evening in style at the electrifying restaurant. In an unusual setting, with street art on the ceiling, a photobooth, designer furniture, and plush extravagant sofas, dishes juggle between classics and elaborate dishes. With a touch of Italian and Asian flavors to continue the immersive experience. A pizzeria has even been created to pay homage to the timeless Neapolitan pizza.

Among the best-sellers of the restaurant? Remember the creamy "Mama's Mac and Cheese", the "Marinated Sea Bream Ceviche with Yuzu", or the "Hand-Cut Charolais Beef Tartare" to name a few. Special mention for the ultra-regressive "Chocolate Souffle with Molten Heart" that takes us back to childhood.Faithful to its initial (and national) positioning, Mama creates places of life, meetings, and parties. While its reputation is well established, it continues to provoke surprise and curiosity. A resounding success!
