The Grand Crohot
Located on the stunning peninsula of Cap Ferret in the town of Lège, the beach of Grand Crohot is one of the most popular in the area. It must be said that its kilometers of fine sand, its amazing WWII blockhouse, and its location on the ocean which allows for kite surfing are all very appealing.

Le Porge
One of the favorite beach spots for locals. The ocean nestles behind a forest of pine trees, sheltered by its small dune, and offers naturally beautiful spots, and, if you venture a bit away from the central beach, peace and quiet, beloved by night fishermen and strollers. The bars, restaurants, and ice cream shops in the quaint village of Le Porge are perfect for refreshing oneself, indulging in ultra-fresh seafood, and even having a party.

Lacanau
The sweet spot for surfers. For those who love to ride the waves, this is the ideal spot. Waves, surf shops, and lively bars line the long sandy beach. Those under 40 come here to enjoy the summer vibes, have a drink on a terrace, attend regular concerts in the bars, and maybe even exchange phone numbers. Sports enthusiasts can indulge in surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, wave skiing, and other more niche disciplines. If you enjoy movement and strong sensations, this is the place to be.
Biscarosse - Navarrosse beach
Here is a beloved beach for families. Located on the edge of Lake Biscarrosse, in the area known as Navarrosse, this lovely beach offers an ideal environment for children, or for those afraid of big waves, with warm water and a gentle slope (which means you can walk far out). Add shaded areas under the pine trees, and you have the ultimate family beach. To top it off, it even has toilets! Of course, if the sound of children playing is not your idea of a peaceful beach day, this may not be the best spot for you...

Le Pilat - Corniche Beach
This marvel of nature, at the foot of the Dune du Pyla, the tallest in Europe and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is among the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world according to The Guardian. And it must be said, without any bias, that this reputation is well deserved. The sunset over the sea seen from the dune (a beautiful climb to plan) is breathtaking, and also incredibly romantic. Thrill-seekers can try paragliding here, while others can just enjoy watching, with their heads up, the ballet of colorful sails, which is also nice and less risky. An exceptional place, absolutely unmissable.
Hourtin - Ocean Beach
Between the dunes, the ocean, and the pine forest, this beautiful beach offers an exceptional natural setting just a stone's throw from the seaside resort of Hourtin. Supervised during the season and therefore safe even though it's a known surfing spot (watch out for surfer abs, ladies), this beach is perfect for sports enthusiasts... and others. And the landscape will surely appeal to dreamers and fans of wild panoramas.

Lège Cap Ferret - Le Truc Vert
Located on the almost-island of Cap Ferret, the beach of Truc Vert is bordered by a long and thin dune cord and made of white and fine sand that squeaks under your feet. Beauty and calm of a wild nature on the horizon, but also dangers: the tidal lagoons are not far and the waves, which attract surfers, challenge swimmers. But the lifeguards, with their perfectly fitting red swimsuits, watch over you.
La Jenny Beach - Le Porge
The town of Le Porge enjoys an exceptional setting, between the ocean, dunes, forest... and naked bottoms! The beautiful Jenny Beach is located just a stone's throw away from the naturist center of La Jenny, so don't be surprised to see some people in their birthday suits, especially on the left side of the beach, reserved for naturists... If you're not bothered by tan lines, this is the perfect spot for sunbathing in the buff! Modest beachgoers, this isn't the beach for you.
