An Italian restaurant in Bordeaux for: With family or friends

CPP

In a contemporary New York-style setting, this warmly-welcoming restaurant serves a wide variety of pizzas. While the pizzas may not be very large, they are always of equal quality, served quickly and with a smile please! Which is not so common.

Bocce, organic pizzas and pétanque

Nestled in the narrow Rue Bouquière, the sign deploys a few tables on the cobblestones of the Saint Pierre district. Here, we love nature and prove it by using semi-whole organic flour from a small French mill. Authenticity obliges, the raw material comes straight from carefully selected Italian cooperatives. Thanks to these premium products, the two chefs create tasty pizzas, such as their Tarfufo - San Marzano tomatoes, buffalo stracciatella - an absolute marvel - truffle ham, Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, rocket and cherry tomatoes. Under a vaulted cellar, which adds charm to the Bordeaux shop houses, the owner has set up a pétanque court that, at aperitif time, delights fans of the sport.Hello there! Burdiga pizza, proudly local

In addition to its name - Burdiga, a diminutive of Burdigala, the old name of our city - the establishment uses only local products, sourced from the Capucins market, or from the farmers' cooperative. The young chef has a passion for doing things well. The dough by.Example, shaped with Italian flour, rests for 48 hours before being stretched by the skilled hands of the pizzaiolo. Same requirement for the toppings, sourced from producers located within a 200 km radius, and available all year round. From classic Reine or Quatre fromage to the exuberant Gasconne - tomatoes, bacon, smoked duck breast, pine nuts, and mozzarella -, the manager even dedicated the end of his menu...to his Ulule contributors! Despite using fresh ingredients from local and sustainable producers, Burdiga's pizzas range between 8 and 13 euros.

Litalia

No notable extravagance on the menu of this establishment with red gingham tablecloths, but the quality of the cuisine reflects a selection of fresh products and a strong desire for well-done work. There is a nice clientele of regulars, who undoubtedly return for the conviviality of the place. Don't forget to make a reservation!

12, avenue Thiers - Bordeaux 05 57 54 70 61 A charming Italian restaurant in Bordeaux: De pure souche Poggetti, pizza, and Focaccia Here you will find the spirit of Italian coffee shops that, according to the owners, was missing so much in Bordeaux. And for good reason, the restaurant is nothing more than an extension of the famous Cosi si mangia grocery store. Nestled in the heart of the Saint-Michel district, the small but cozy place welcomes the hungry every day from 9am to midnight. You can enjoy pizzas, of course, but also antipasti, focaccia, fresh pasta, and some Italian specialties. No set menu, no reservations, just simple and authentic Italian cuisine made with good ingredients served all day long.

Masaniello

Just a short walk from Place Camille Jullian, this little piece of Naples is hidden away. While the establishment may not look like much from the outside, the warm welcome accompanied by a strong Italian accent and the extensive menu will entice you to step foot into one of Bordeaux's best pizzerias. And for good reason, here all the products are prepared as they are in the home country! The dough rests for nearly 8 hours before being topped with carefully selected fresh ingredients and baked in a Neapolitan wood-fired oven.

Capperi

Attention treasure hunters! This small establishment, created by a doctoral student in love with his country, opened a few months ago on rue de la Cour-des-Aides. Bartolo's melodic accent, the quality of the products and the aroma of truffle ham wafting from the shop should guide you straight to the counter at Capperi. The ten coveted spots at the pizzeria require a reservation in advance. But for those in a hurry, the 12 pizze on the menu, reinvented each season, can also be enjoyed at home.

3, rue de la Cour-des-Aides - Bordeaux 05 56 90 93 05 Bistro Mimi Just a stone's throw from Place Tourny, Vincent and Vittorio welcome you to their Italian bistro. Set under a large glass roof, the main room with its walls of warm colors is bathed in natural light. The clientele enjoys delicious Neapolitan pizzas made in the traditional way, with the dough proofed for 20 to 24 hours. You can find the Quatre Saison, a pizza with four separate flavors tied together by a thin crust... 17, rue Huguerie - Bordeaux 05 57 83 47 42 Restaurant italien à Bordeaux : Les trop connus Peponne Whether we're talking about their pizzas or their desserts, let's be honest, Peponne truly lives up to its reputation. Thin and crispy crusts...sparkling, fresh salads straight from Italy and wine to be selected directly from the cellar: these are the many assets of the restaurant... unfortunately making it a very (too?) popular place! Be patient, especially in the evening, the menu is worth the 20 minutes of waiting.
