The Red Dot

My first punctuates each sentence, my second is the color of passion, my whole is located in a majestic Bordeaux castle on the banks of the Garonne River and serves the best wines and cocktails at a price that will catch your banker's eye. In short, a secret address yet a restaurant-bar already well known to the most ambitious. In this humble exceptional bar, the room impresses as much with its size - 250m² - as with its windows and collection furniture. For wine lovers, the embarrassment will mainly be in the choice. A haunt for aficionados, you can find more than 1200 references, select vintages chosen by the great Claude Martignoles and bottles that exist in so few copies that they are regularly the subject of offers by collectors. Note that the establishment is the recipient of numerous estates. But do not be mistaken about the place, you don't need the fortune of a king to drink in this manor. Because there is no need to go into the red. to enjoy the best of after-work events.

Rn7: the Bordeaux wine merchant to know

Beautiful Chartrons setting and meeting place for regulars of the neighborhood, this cellar bears the name of a national road, it's no coincidence. Here you will only find characterful wines from the Rhône Valley and the spontaneity of the South. Frédéric, originally from Drôme and reconverted Parisian, regales us with stories about the vineyards of the s.Childhood and wonderful nectars. Located at the corner of Rue Ramonet and rue Notre Dame, this shop with its vintage sign still displaying "Upholsterer - bedding" attracts all camera lenses and lovers of impromptu aperitifs. Indeed, here, we know when we enter, rarely when we leave, and that's what makes the charm of this cellar where we will have tasted more glasses than in a Pub Crawl evening. Because life is not just about Bordeaux.

Le Vertige: stunning wine bar in Bordeaux

Nestled in a former coach passage between Rue du Parlement Saint Pierre and Rue de la devise, the majestic wine bar made of blonde stone surprises with its mirror as the back wall, giving it that dizzying aspect. But the vertigo doesn't stop there. With over 20.0 references on the counter, from Bordeaux to Argentina, a latest generation self-service tasting device and its small tasting plates - such as the foie gras with Pineau des Charentes - the nobility of the menu could almost make you dizzy. This newcomer from the Saint Pierre neighborhood is clearly a must-try.

At Grandpa's place: like being at home

The ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine before or after a movie. Located on the quiet side of Gambetta Square, going to Grandpa's is like visiting a dear relative's home.

Dad is all about enjoying a cozy atmosphere: local and regional wines, sausages, singers, humor by the bar, everything is done to make you feel at home. In the small cellar downstairs, concerts, jam sessions, traditional dances or any other excuse to celebrate are organized. In addition, the aforementioned dad is a big rugby fan, so he specializes in broadcasting games and in the post-match socializing.
