A trip to Corsica from Bordeaux
But now, let's head to the seaside! The Corsican counter is taking a new gamble with a tapas bar, where the recipes are linked to the sea and white wines are in the spotlight.
Like an old sea wolf, the Corsican food expert keeps the same formula as in his previous restaurant. The dishes will always be served to share or enjoy individually. This is how we find the house charcoal burger, a sea pita, tender tuna, crispy octopus at Salinu, Octopus à la Ajaccienne, or the citrus-marinated sea bream tartare as tapas. For main courses: the half-cooked tuna steak, grilled octopus in garlic and parsley, or sea spider crab pasta.
Hello there, happy to see you!
Colorful plates from the sea
Each creation is made with love and in respect of tradition by Antonin, the chef. The desserts also follow the rule of the sea with, for example, the tiramisu di mare. We won't say anymore, the tasting is worth the surprise! A lunch menu is offered and renewed every day (with mussels and fries, seafood couscous, or squid ink risotto and sautéed squid with parsley for example...).
10 years after their arrival in Bordeaux, A Cantina is not resting on its laurels. Their new address "A Mare" sets sail. But there's no need to worry, they are on the right track and thriving.
