Truly the birthplace of haute cuisine, our Metropolis is filled with distinguished addresses recognized by the famous Michelin Guide. In total, 11 establishments have been awarded stars.

On March 6th in Strasbourg, the Mass of French haute cuisine took place. Out of the 54 establishments that have been awarded one, two, or three stars in the Michelin Guide in the Southwest, 11 are hidden within Bordeaux Metropole. Spoiler: the only new addition in downtown Bordeaux to receive the most prestigious of distinctions is located in the Fondaudège district. It is the Ressources restaurant, managed by chef Tanguy Laviale, who breaks away from traditional gastronomy codes with an affordable menu starting at €45.
