Palatino - Big Mamma
We dreamed of it, and they made it happen! The beloved Italian team founded in 2015 in the world of gastronomy opened their restaurant in Bordeaux last June. It's called Palatino, located at 6-8 Rue de la Merci, offering the same experience that combines typical Italian cuisine, a staff with a melodic accent, and a decoration worthy of the oldest Italian trattorias in this spectacular place of 850 m2 with ancient stone vaults and a balcony reminiscent of an ancient theater. Their extremely generous and authentic dishes made with imported products are all the rage. And you'll definitely need to make a reservation to sit at the vintage set tables and taste their famous truffle pasta, Neapolitan pizzas, or traditional tiramisu. Grazie mile ...

Yeast Pizza Bar
Located just a stone's throw from the Aquitaine Museum, this is the first pizza bar in Bordeaux and one of the trendiest spots of the moment. The concept, and not the least, pizzas served by the slice. But not just any pizzas, "al taglio (by the cut) Roman-style" ones.dantes. We love their crispy crust with a specific cooking style, their toppings that range from simple to elaborate, and their proudly assumed Italian origin. On the menu as well, there are platters, custom cocktails, and homemade desserts, all in a trendy decor setting: a long room framed with exposed stones, ancient wooden floors, rattan furniture, designer lighting fixtures, and vintage dishes that blend perfectly. We hear whispers about aperitivos coming soon. The ultimate combo!

Burdiga pizza, proudly local
In addition to its name - Burdiga, a diminutive of Burdigala, the ancient name of our city - the establishment only uses local products, purchased at the Capucins market, or from the farmer's company. The dough, for example, made with Italian flour, rests for 48 hours before being rolled out by the skilled hands of the pizza maker. The same standard applies to the toppings, sourced from producers located within a 200 km radius around Bordeaux.and available all year round. From classic Queen or Four Cheese to Gasconne - tomatoes, smoked bacon, duck breast, pine nuts and mozzarella -, the manager even dedicated the end of his menu... to his Ulule contributors! Despite fresh ingredients from local and sustainable producers, Burdiga branded pizzas even fascinate the most discerning pizza lovers.

You can enjoy pizzas, of course, but also antipasti, focaccia, fresh pasta, and some Italian specialties. The most famous Italian restaurants
Peponne
Whether referencing its pizzas or desserts, let's be honest, Peponne's reputation is there. Thin and crispy crusts, fresh toppings straight from Italy and wine to be selected directly from the cellar: these are the many strengths of the restaurant... which unfortunately make it a very (too?) popular place! Just be patient, especially in the evening, the menu is worth the 20-minute wait.

Raggazi from Peponne
Thanks to its success, Peponne has expanded, like the establishment on the banks, which boasts a large terrace with views of the Garonne and replicates the menu of the main restaurant identically. It has nothing to envy its big brother.
