Le Sababa, the most unusual
No need to look for the establishment associated with these 100m² of terrace with a Ferret ambiance, it simply no longer exists. The restaurant Fondaudège was demolished during the construction of the D line. Never short of ideas, the owners then decide to redesign this ideal neglected corner of Fondaudège Street into a bar with the sky as its roof and especially huge heated umbrellas adorned with fairy lights. So it is among the olive trees, at the teak high tables, with or without a blanket that you can enjoy a slate menu consisting of tapas and oysters. And for this, nothing beats the Rolls Royce of food trucks to serve us: the Vintage Airstream caravan that stands out serves tapas, sea bream, and ribeye steak (the latter two will be back in the summer). And since the name of the spot is nothing but a Hebrew expression of joy, instead of saying "it's great," we'll say...;: Awesome !

Vintage Café, the most unmissable
Just a stone's throw away from the Place de la Bourse, Vintage Café has become a reference in just a few years. With its warm and authentic atmosphere, this café with carefully designed decor is the headquarters of many Bordelais. On the terrace overlooking the colorful right bank lit up by the sunset and heated in winter, twenty and thirty-somethings gather, drawn by the Parisian-style layout, the warmly retro lighting, the casual spirit of the place, and of course, the good beer it serves at a fair price. Set up on.on the docks, on woven chairs facing the Garonne, glass in hand, we feel good. Come on, join us! © Marion Bel

Michel's, the most family-friendly
A favorite family canteen for lunch, Michel's also welcomes the people of Bordeaux in the evening, under warm dimmed lights for a drink or a delicious homemade meal, prepared with love. The menu of this charming neighborhood bistro is top-quality. Simple, yet effective. With fresh, mainly local ingredients and recipes (often from grandmothers) made entirely from scratch. The best-seller? The gourmet croque-monsieur (and homemade fries of course)!) and its lovely touch of pesto that customers love. Not to mention the hearty burger or the must-have sausage and mash that are a hit. Its success? The establishment located on Rue du Pas-Saint-Georges owes it to its familiarity with its customers, its "down-to-earth" atmosphere, and its simplicity. Urban but not too snooty. That's why the regulars are so numerous.

Papillon, the most colorful
Butterfly day and night, this restaurant & cocktails that landed on the docks 2 years ago put on its vibrant attire as soon as winter arrived. The beef tatakis and burratina accompany beers and other nectars under the glowing heaters and awning. While the bartenders warm up by skillfully making their tangy cocktails, we surround ourselves with colorful blankets on the intimate terrace facing the Garonne. Right on the Chartrons quay, we live here in an endless summer thanks to the pastel and plant decor like a Hawaiian beach. Cheers!

Chez Thérèse, the most secret
Located at the foot of the iconic Flèche in the Saint Michel neighborhood, this address is a true reconstruction of a grandmother's house. From the library to the bathroom to the cellar where you can get your wine, Chez Thérèse is this warm place where you gather around a good beef bourguignon or a game of Scrabble. While the large terrace facing the picturesque St Michel steeple is perfect for seeing and being seen, the elegant patio reveals itself to the curious visitors who explore the house. His passion for the winter season is evident until the end. The big favorite of the winter: the heated garland that lights up the patio. We are warm.

Balthazar, the most festive
This cult bar in the Victoire-Saint-Michel neighborhood is one of the most popular in the Bordeaux capital.Dine with its grand royal blue terrace that dominates the corner of Rue du Mirail. A true "cult" beer bar, you can find no less than 18 draft beers and as for references, it's the cream of the crop: Delirium, Magners, Chimay Triple, Brooklyn, Budweiser, Chouffe, the best of each country coming together from the taps or under the bottle caps. With its brick walls, open 7 days a week, its majestic heated and illuminated terrace, its 3 screens to broadcast games and foosball tournaments, its cozy industrial decor, a Happy Hour lasting more than 3 hours, lively meetings, and a party playlist, it is written that one lingers there.

Canopy Café, the most elevated
Located at the top of the former Planète Saturne on a 1500 m² rooftop, the venue offers two culinary experiences: on one side, a sleek and modern restaurant with bistronomic cuisine. On the other side, a bodega with a Spanish vibe and sangria. The whole space revolves around massive green terraces adorned with four boulodromes (covered in winter), a foosball table, and a panoramic view of the city lights. At the time of sunset, the ambiance is filled with joyfulness and positive energy. At the "apéro", we fill up on patatas bravas, cod croquettes, tortilla pintxos, and also Iberian cold cuts. Between 6€ and 18€, everything is shared under the patio heaters, present both in summer and winter. It's a feast for the eyes and taste buds, reminding us of our warm Hispanic evenings.

Heated Bubbles at the InterContinental, the most VIP
Easily spotted on the magical Place de la Comédie, the transparent bubble-shaped heated igloos have made their grand comeback at the InterContinental Grand Hôtel. With these icy temperatures, it's hard not to envy these inhabitants who, besides being.Sitting comfortably on sofas with fur throws, guests enjoy a private fireplace and a view of the square. This year, a new feature is that the bubbles are surrounded by a mini ski resort (with private cable cars). Despite their appearance, these cozy spaces are open to everyone. Here, you can enjoy a "mountain" menu featuring all the classics as well as the unmissable hot chocolate topped with marshmallows/whipped cream/chocolate. Treat yourself without having to wait until the end of the month.
