The opening of this new street-food bistronomic restaurant in Saint-Mich' had everyone talking. Freshly opened at the foot of the Basilique Saint Michel, it offers dishes to share with international flavors. Formerly known as La Girondine, the restaurant was taken over this summer by Arthur Vonderheyden and Pierre Deleume, two stars of the restaurant industry. Their menu filled with international dishes made from local products highlights cuisine from around the world. And for dessert, you don't need to go far. The churros with their creamy chocolate sauce are a clear winner! Some say people even go there just for them. They are definitely worth it...

Head to Saint-Rémi street for a delicious stop. Between two walks, or two visits to UNESCO world heritage listed monuments (the Place de la Bourse is just a few meters away), one willingly gets caught up in the intoxicating smell of homemade churros. La Petite Gourmandise, opened last April, offers churros, crepes, waffles and homemade donuts. In this little pink store, with its extravagant storefront, the sweet breaks go by in a flash. The store offers only takeaway sales. No frills here. It's as easy as pie!

  • Buenavida Bordeaux

When winter comes, it's time for hot chocolates to make their comeback. And in Spain, the tradition of "chocolate con churros" is not forgotten. Fran, the owner of Buenavida, knows this well and adds this delicious sweet Spanish touch to the menu of his establishment. Every October, churros make their grand return. Be warned, if they were a daily staple in previous years, this year they will only make occasional appearances. Depending on the chef's mood, or not. It's all up to chance! And to console you on days without churros, there will always be the thick and creamy hot chocolates typical of Madrid.
