Brand new and beautiful! This Lebanese fast-food joint has popped up on the parvis of Gare Saint-Jean, much to the delight of Lebanese cuisine lovers. This truck full of oriental delights will be here until September. Inside, the Mawazini brothers cook up the great specialties of their culture with a modern twist. On the menu? Houmous, mezzé, vegetable caviar, and falafel. Already established in Paris in the 6th arrondissement (with a physical restaurant), they hopped on the LGV and landed in Bordeaux on June 12th. There are two options to choose from, the first one priced at 10 euros (includes houmous or vegetable caviar, homemade fries or two mezzés, and a drink) and a more generous one at the surprising price of 14 euros, featuring a falafel sandwich, homemade fries, and a drink. Watch out, culinary delight is just around the corner (at Gare Saint-Jean)!

OURS Café

The newest addition on Rue Sainte Colombe is riding the wave. No wonder for a coffee shop, restaurant, and concept store named after a famous Australian spot, blending surf, yoga, and homemade food. In this cozy 260m² space of blonde stone, you can enjoy pancakes, porridge, and specialty coffee from our friends at Piha roasters for breakfast. For lunch, indulge in hearty burgers with slow-cooked beef and Comté cheese, creamy baked eggs, and more.Velvety colors and delicious veggie club sandwiches with chutney that come together in a budget-friendly menu. All that, yes and much more. In this warm decor of raw wood, with a vegetal fresco mixed with the blue of the ocean, we come to do yoga, learn to shape our surfboard (or buy one, your choice), watch surf films, or even buy plants from the Maison Amour de Fleurs that enrich the decor. They promise to go high.

Combining "Otherwise" - autrement - in French in the text, these two young athletes who fell into the food industry do things differently. Open continuously, this "healthy refueling" as they like to call it offers much more - in quantity and quality - than just a complete salad on site or a good sandwich to go. The open kitchen, state-of-the-art juice extractors, and symbols of strength, cardio, or detox on the labels all testify to this. Each recipe is crafted with care and offers something special. The recipe is carefully crafted and explained to allow athletes and casual visitors to recharge according to their needs. We chat about nutrition, well-being, and sports. We taste original, healthy products, sourced locally, either meaty or vegan, and prepared with love. Here, the revamped salty snack takes off at great speed, just like the hearty chicken quinoa salad and the acai bowl that we enjoy leisurely with a raspberry, lucuma, coconut milk, mint, and flax seed juice or smoothie. We stock up here and feel good.

Shabada

Just two years old, this young seedling quickly became a must-visit spot on Cours Victor Hugo. Here we delight (with our fingers because it's better) in Mediterranean cuisine with mezze to share - eggplant caviar, borek, hummus - and refined dishes like veal. With a view of the kitchen, its stunning turquoise blue mosaic, and the simple and smiling service of the owners that can be observed from the booths with matching cushions and lampshades from Designers Guild, we quickly feel at ease. No pretension, but our cYour heart is already racing.

BIG Bistrot Girondin

The original cement tiles dating back to 1873 bear witness to the fact that this bistro on the delicious Rue Saint-Rémi is no spring chicken. From the moment you step in, the address immerses us in history and the elegant brasseries of yesteryear with its wall of chrome tile mirrors, 20th-century style lighting, and warm atmosphere. While the cuisine is modernizing the great classics, in the kitchen we find the chef Romain Guyot using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu highlights seafood with dishes such as the fricasseed monkfish served with roasted celery, razor clams, clams, and other shellfish. You can also taste the famous braised pork cheek and other brasserie classics. At lunchtime, you'll find the same quality in set menus ranging from €11 to €18.90. The miracle of.And now, the French-style break.

At Peter's

It's not about another Coffee-Shop with raw wood and bearded men in checkered shirts. No, here, we are transported to a diametrically opposite universe, a touch of blush that sets it apart from its big brothers. Brightly colored walls, a surprising decor to browse around, a pop and tangy atmosphere welcomes us right at the entrance. As for the service, we find the inevitable black coffee but also artistic pastries inspired by pop culture. Our eyes will widen at the Pac-man lemon tarts, the chocolate mi-cuits from Platform 9 3/4 of the Hogwarts Express. A true ode to the 80s-90s that we will hurry to discover especially through their sweet and savory offer available at any time all week. Scrambled eggs to die for, avocado/hummus toast, Halloumi burger, burrito, slices of bread from the Louis Lamour bakery, homemade spread, huge cookie.ultra soft (probably one of the best in town) or granola, we will feast our eyes and fill our stomach. The connoisseurs will be delighted to learn that the spot serves the Dirty Tchai. Cheers! 🍵🍰
