The page turns for the Bistro du Vieux Marché, this cozy family canteen with a plant-filled terrace at the foot of the sports parking lot. The Comptoir Thérèse will open in mid-October. Like on a quest to do more (and always better), Audrey and Yoann (the founders of the iconic Chez Thérèse) continue their family saga. With a restaurant that has nothing left to prove on Place Saint-Mich', they are now embarking on a new adventure. **Comforting jars on the go or to take away** After the Bistro du Vieux Marché, it's time for the Comptoir Thérèse, which will prepare Mamie Thérèse's recipes in jars, to be enjoyed on the spot or to take away. The restaurant, open for lunch 5 days a week, will prepare comforting dishes to order, elegantly served on small wooden trays. Particularly instagrammable...

Ready for some delicious homemade dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients? A lunch formula will be offered for €17 with a main course (veal blanquette, black pork stew, beef bourguignon...), a choice of side dish (roasted potatoes, rice, bulgur...) and a daily dessert (panna cotta, chocolate mousse...). A great deal for a dignified meal on the go or at home. The jars can be stored for 3 years and are deposit €0.50 (refundable in the form of a gift voucher on the next order).

A 5-star wine cellar and gourmet grocery

But wait, there's more. In the back of the restaurant, there is a large "grocery" corner where you can find all their jarred wonders and more to discover. Homemade grape jam, additive-free and preservative-free fruit compotes, homemade spreads, and more.Ready-to-use kitchen preserves (garlic confit, onion compote...) fill the wooden shelves.

The recipe is the same as at Chez Thérèse: all products come from local producers in short circuits. The team present on site, passionate and engaging, gives valuable advice and recommendations on the products for sale. Tasting, maybe even as a bonus (if you are nice).

On the first Tuesday of the month, it's time for a wine tasting !

Graduate of the demanding D.U.A.D issued by the Bordeaux institute of Vine and Wine Sciences, Yoann the owner had to have his wine cellar (and other types of alcohol). A great friend of the region's winemakers, and with a special oenophilic flair, he goes through an average of 800 to 1000 bottles per month that he knows like the back of his hand. Not to mention the champagne, spirits, beers, juices or crémants that adorn this special cellar. From Bordeaux vodka, to Toulouse gin, passing through. The lemon liqueur from Gers... The exceptional bottles will be honored and diversity will be the rule. This is evidenced by lifestyle products that bring a playful touch like Les Bougies du Vin.

Pompom on the Garonne? Yoann will also organize wine tastings once a month on Tuesdays. Each tasting will have a specific theme and will be accompanied by some snack boards and their preserves. The spots are highly sought after, so we recommend booking in advance!
