A new 95 m2 pop-up store that showcases second-hand items and upcycling has bloomed on Saint-James street in Bordeaux. As delightful in content as it is in appearance, the temporary boutique Madame Angèle is filled with textile, cosmetic, and decorative treasures to be hunted without moderation. "No matter the brand, as long as we have style".

Cute, "Madame Angèle" has set up shop yesterday and until October 16th at 6 rue St James Bordeaux. Every day, from 10am to 8pm, she will delight the people of Bordeaux with her unique finds and products from local creators. In her 95m2 space divided into 3 corners including 1 floor, there is a beautiful catalog of 10,000 pieces for every taste and size. Everything on site has meaning and a special story. The idea for Angélique, the founder of the brand, is to consume second-hand with sobriety and intelligence for environmental and human impact.

A sustainable Fashion & Decor concept

The ready-to-wear space offers clothes, scarves, shoes, and some leather goods always coming from France or within 300 km of Bordeaux. Not to mention the upcycled part signed by "Madame Angèle" where a seamstress revamps fabric from sheets or curtains to create true style pieces transformed into jackets, skirts... The vintage corner, on the other hand, sells small furniture, decorative objects, stoneware dishes, wicker tables, demijohns... Trendy pieces, available at lower prices than new in stores.

15 Bordeaux or Aquitaine artisan-creators 

More than ever in tune with the times, sustainable consumption is on the rise. Angèle has easily surrounded herself with several local creators who sell their products. Cosmetics, jewelry, ceramics, candles, illustrations, shoes made in France... Many Bordeaux or Aquitaine creators come together in this carefully curated sales space.

Among them? We find the 20-21 slow cosmetics brand from Pessac, the ultra-trendy zero waste sustainable range from Quakers & Co, the hair creations from Belle Marguerite, or the poetic illustrations from Somewhere in the Poster...

Sustainable and Trendy Consumption

Recently born, the concept store Madame Angèle has already organized 2 pop-ups in Bordeaux and Caudéran. After many years in the fashion industry, its founder Angélique Rousselot Doisy puts her heart into offering an alternative to consumption by volume. Every 6 weeks, she will organize new ephemeral sales in various parts of the city.

With the same fundamental values of style, sharing, and authenticity. Each time crowned with success, these pop-ups multiply as Madame Angèle's community grows.
