A Dive into the Abyss
The All Saints’ Day vacation will be all about the big blue in Bordeaux. Starting from October 18, 2025, the Bassins des Lumières will unveil their brand new immersive creation: « Ocean, an Immersive Dive », a 360° sensory spectacle celebrating the richness and beauty of the underwater world.

Vibrant coral reefs, majestic whales, schools of tropical fish, and deep-sea creatures fill this lively mural designed to dazzle visitors of all ages. Thanks to the cutting-edge audiovisual technologies of the digital art center, the audience is literally immersed in the depths, at the heart of a universe as fragile as it is fascinating.
Spectacular immersion and marine commitment
From penguins on the ice to glowing jellyfish, along with sharks, orcas, seals, and seahorses, the show unfolds a series of animated scenes on monumental walls and in the moving reflections of the pools. Over 100 marine species.are highlighted in a colorful and immersive ballet.

But beyond the visual spectacle, “Ocean” also invites a ecological awareness. The influence of human activity on marine wildlife is subtly addressed, highlighting the vulnerability of an ecosystem that’s still largely unknown.
Between Sound, Light, and Cinema
The magic also happens thanks to a carefully orchestrated soundtrack, blending natural ocean sounds, enchanting musical layers, and nods to cult cinema. The appearance of a giant octopus set to the notes of Goldfinger from James Bond, or the slow ballet of jellyfish in rhythm, truly illustrate this enchanting experience.
