Food lovers can enjoy a refined French cuisine meant for sharing in a warm and minimalist atmosphere designed by interior architect Louise Naegelen. “We want to offer a true culinary experience, where you can take your time to savor each bite without feeling rushed,” explains Quentin, the founder of the restaurant.

The menu, intentionally short, always features 4 starters, 4 main dishes, and 4 desserts, changing with the seasons. Right now, you can savor delights like "veal and eel tartare", "duck fillet", "monkfish à l'armoricaine", or "tagliatelle with mushrooms and 24-month-old Comté cheese". The journey for your taste buds ends sweetly with treats like "cookie", "poached pear", or "meringue".

With a seating capacity of 40, Ost invites each guest to embark on an intimate gastronomic journey that's as indulgent as it is elegant, all under the soft glow of the dimmed neon lights. Behind this wonderful success are two young entrepreneurs, Vatel graduates, Quentin and Sophie, who spent five long years bringing this project to life. Having been trained in some of the finest institutions, Sophie, who has worked in the kitchens of Alain Ducasse, and Quentin, who has served at Sofitel, have expertly blended their talents and experiences to create a place that truly reflects them.


The restaurant gets its name from the English word "host", which means host. It's the result of their shared dream: to offer the people of Bordeaux a new way to experience a meal. Mission accomplished, and it has been widely praised by food lovers!
