The verdict came down on September 14th at the Paris Coffee Show: among the 10 best addresses selected across France, Goûtu Bordeaux stood out for its beautiful blend of fine pastry and specialty coffee. An award that celebrates the work carried out since 2018 by brothers Kévin and Dimitri Grodwohl.
Fine pastry and specialty coffee united in Bordeaux
Behind Goûtu lies the universe of Oven Heaven, a Bordeaux house born 8 years ago around two complementary skills. On one side, Kévin, pastry chef, imagines fine creations guided by seasonality. On the other, Dimitri, master roaster and certified Q Grader, works with specialty coffees and their aromatic profiles. A partnership between cup and plate that has been the signature of the house from the very beginning.

It's precisely this Food & Beverage experience that won over the jury: a concept where freshly roasted coffee and pastries are thoughtfully paired together, with careful attention paid to the product, its origin, and seasonality.
A second national award for Goûtu
This isn't actually the first time the Bordeaux establishment has caught attention in this competition. Back in 2024, for its very first participation, it had already won the Jury's Favorite Award.
Two years later, Goûtu returns to the winners' list with a brand new national distinction. The competition evaluates coffee shops across several dimensions, including the coffee experience, Food & Beverage offerings, customer experience, CSR commitments, and communication.

Bordeaux scores a double at France's Best Coffee Shop competition
And Goûtu isn't the only Bordeaux spot to win over the jury this year. Moko Coffee Shop, created by Thomas and Ninon Labroue, claimed the top prize by being crowned Best Coffee Shop in France 2026, across all categories.
