What was once just an extravagant dream has now become an accessible reality. Wine will flow endlessly, with no limit on quantity for all guests.
A revolutionary concept in the heart of Bordeaux
The concept, envisioned by the famous sommelier Julien Pires, is simple yet revolutionary: “We wanted to create a place where the wine experience is accessible to everyone, at any time during the meal, without constraints,” he explains. “The fountain will be supplied with a selection of great Bordeaux wines, as well as natural and organic wines, so that everyone can discover the richness of our terroir.”
High-end menu and 5-star service
The restaurant, which can accueill...go up to 200 covers, will offer a gastronomic menu that lives up to its concept. Each dish, created by the star chef Élise Boudet, will be paired with wine suggestions, which guests can now "pump" directly from the fountain. The tasting menu, priced at €180 per person, will include refined dishes such as truffle butter lobsters, duck foie gras terrines, and aged cheeses sourced from the best cellars in the region.
A colossal investment
With a budget of 5 million euros, Le Divin Nectar aims to be an exclusive venue. According to Brigitte Lemoine, the project manager, “Bordeaux is the capital of wine worldwide, and it was natural for such a project to be born here. We have worked with renowned oenologists and architects to provide our visitors with a complete sensory experience, where wine is not just a drink, but a culture in its own right.”
The doors of Le Divin Nectar will officially open in September 2025, with an inaugural evening that promises to be spectacular.
