Astræ, the first pastry shop in France dedicated to astrological signs will open its doors in March in Bordeaux. Located at 44 rue de la Faïencerie, this sweet gem will welcome the public from Tuesday to Friday, from 11 AM to 6 PM, built around a project imagined, designed, and managed from A to Z by final-year students. Pastries, chocolates, communication, accounting, decoration: everything has been thought out by the team, with a clear guiding principle: to make the stars and indulgence converse.

Twelve Signs, Twelve Unique Creations
« The goal is not just to offer desserts, but to create a true immersive experience where everyone can identify with their sign», explains Nathan, one of the students. On the menu: 12 pastries linked to the twelve zodiac signs. Each astrological character is translated into flavors, textures, and aesthetics, and each creation tells a story, designed as a tasty mirror of the personality.

Scorpio, intense and passionate, takes the shape of a Strawberry & Espelette Pepper Mille-feuille, while other signs are represented by a Mango & Vanilla Tart designed for Leo, Chocolate Flan & Cocoa Nibs for Pisces, or 100% Hazelnut Mousse for Capricorns. The prices of the pastries range from €3.50 to €5.50.
Chocolates, fortune cookies, and astrological predictions
The experience continues in the chocolate shop, with candies and bars associated with the signs: Raspberry Fruit Paste for Leo, Coconut Ganache Candy covered in Dark Chocolate for Sagittarius, or Vanilla Marshmallow Bear & Salted Butter Caramel covered in Milk Chocolate for Pisces.

The items are available starting from €0.85. For a fun twist, the fortune cookies under €1 hide a personalized astrology prediction, and sometimes even a sweet treat to pick up in-store. “We wanted astrology to be present even in the details, with an element of surprise and participation,” Nathan explains.
A Shop Designed Like a Universe
Beyond the displays, Astræ claims a total immersion: scenography, visual identity, product names, and categories based on elements (Air, Earth, Water, Fire) shape the offer, even for snacks and pastries. Savory options (breads, quiches, focaccias, sandwiches) complement the menu to welcome visitors at any time of the day.
