The only Bordeaux address to be recognized this year, Mi Cielo joins a rare circle of 11 establishments honored around the world, including Maison Malécot in Saint-Malo, Lucette in Slovakia, and Rau Kyoto in Japan.

For nine years, in their quaint shop located at 13, boulevard Pierre-1er in Bouscat, Diego and Blanca have been crafting a modern, vibrant, and natural pastry. Their creations, which are lightly sweetened, highlight fresh fruits, aromatic herbs, and local ingredients like organic eggs from Landes and apples from Lot-et-Garonne.
« This award honors nine years of hard work, passion, and commitment to our values », the award winners reacted, still moved. Their signature? Occasion cakes – birthdays, weddings, christenings – as well as everyday cookies and pastries, all made without artificial coloring or gelatin.
