A few weeks ago, we talked about the restaurant Ost Bordeaux, which was soaring at the top of the best restaurants in town with a perfect 5/5 rating on Google. But since then, after fine-tuning our search, we discovered that 2 other friends (from the center and the metropolitan area) have joined the list. Let’s introduce them!
Joki, one of the best dining spots in Bordeaux
The Joki restaurant, located in the Saint-Pierre neighborhood, offers a unique culinary experience. Founded by friends Jodie and Kilian, this gastronomic establishment stands out with its bold combination of refined dishes and creative cocktails. The cuisine at Joki pays tribute to local producers and the richness of the Bordeaux terroir.

The star of the house? The creative cocktail that pairs with the dish to ensure an exceptional gastronomic experience. Just take a look at the "Veal sweetbreads with onion petal stuffed with almond praline jerusalem artichoke and cider sauce" served with a cocktail featuring cognac, port, red vermouth, and chocolate bitters, or the "Fisherman's natural fish, fine herb stuffing, glazed Brussels sprouts, and blood orange beurre blanc" accompanied by its magical potion made with Pisco infused with nutmeg, Cointreau, kiwi juice, and lemon. And for a sweet note, we will finish with the "Chocolate tartlet, roasted hazelnuts, salted butter caramel, and candied cedrat" paired with some Amaretto, apple juice, and verjuice.
Despite its avant-garde format that blends fine dining and high mixology, Joki shines with its warm and family-friendly atmosphere. The idea? To offer a unique experience while remaining accessible. A winning bet that has earned it 5 stars on Google after over 360 reviews.
