For one delightful evening, one of the well-known tables at the Bassins à flot is getting ready to welcome a special guest. On Friday, March 20th, the Bistrot Spinoza will host a dinner featuring 4 hands together with the house chef and Michel Portos, a chef with two Michelin stars. This is a rare yet accessible culinary encounter around a unique five-course menu for just 69€ (excluding drinks).
An Exceptional Culinary Encounter
For this special evening, the two chefs will create a unique menu designed as a true culinary experience. The concept of dinner with four hands is all about the collaboration between two chefs who imagine and prepare each dish either in turn or as a duo. The presence of Michel Portos, a major figure in French gastronomy and a former two-star chef, promises an evening filled with creativity and sharing.
Spinoza Bordeaux, the charming spot in the Bassins à flot
Opened in 2019 in the thriving neighborhood of the Bassins à flot, Bistrot Spinoza was born from the friendship between Sandy and Michaël. The two met at the age of 16 at the Vatel hotel school in Nîmes before each taking their own path in the restaurant world. Years later, they reunited during a surfing trip in El Salvador. Between surf sessions and cooking with simple, fresh ingredients, the idea of opening a restaurant that reflected their vision took shape. Bistrot Spinoza emerged from this shared dream: to offer sincere cuisine that respects the seasons and the producers.
