Presented as the first 100% vanilla café in France, this new spot offers a sweet and savory menu along with premium beverages where vanilla is showcased in every way imaginable: ice cream, whipped cream, syrup, custard, cappuccino, and even matcha latte.

A Second Spot Born from True Success

In Bordeaux, Vanille Lina didn’t wait long to expand. Just a year after opening its pastry shop specializing in vanilla, the place is already bustling with customers.

We wanted to develop and enhance our offerings,” says Eric, the founder, who decided to open a second location just a few steps away from the first, to extend the experience around this delightful island spice. After several months of renovations, the café officially opened its doors on April 10.

Vanilla in All Its Glory

Here, vanilla isn’t just a flavor; it’s the star of the menu! Among the must-try delights are vanilla flan, carrot cake, sundae bowls, and vanilla ice cream served with custard and a dollop of homemade vanilla whipped cream (also available on pastries, ice creams, and even hot drinks).

On the beverage side, this spot boasts a premium selection with specialty coffees from Maison Pia and homemade almond milk. Enjoy a vanilla cappuccino, ice matcha latte topped with vanilla whipped cream, affogato (an Italian specialty with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with double espresso), or delightful flavored milkshakes and smoothies: vanilla makes its appearance everywhere!

A Simple Yet Delicious Savory Menu

To complement the offerings, Vanille Lina also presents a small savory menu designed for dining in or taking away. On the menu? Smoked trout wrap, Caesar chicken wrap, burrata salad, or Auvergne blue cheese salad: simple yet effective recipes, with accessible prices ranging from €7 to €12. The café has 16 seats indoors and 4 spots on the terrace.

Behind Vanille Lina, there’s a heartfelt family adventure. Éric's family grows vanilla in Madagascar, allowing the team to work with an exceptional raw material with true mastery of the product. Today, the establishment also supplies several top Bordeaux restaurants like Maison Nouvelle, Le Prince Noir, Le Quatrième Mur, and more.
