Born in December 2018 on the docks of Paludate, this temple of street food and friendliness is living its final days. Due to lack of profitability, the permanent closure of Boca Foodcourt will soon be enforced by the courts. As a farewell, a last festive evening will gather the public this Saturday around music, flavors, and memories.

A verdict expected next week

The Boca Foodcourt Bordeaux will soon be no more. The court will announce the official closing date next Tuesday. One thing is certain, the end is near.  No matter the outcome of the hearing, Boca will be closing its doors soon.It will then be the end of a chapter that started nearly seven years ago.

A model weakened by decreased attendance

Launched in late 2018 with the ambition of creating a hybrid space combining a food court, bar, and music scene, La Boca had successfully attracted a wide audience. However, over time, challenges began to accumulate. "Attendance has dropped since the beginning of the year, the neighborhood isn't progressing, and the revenue is no longer sufficient," the team confides. The economic context and lack of dynamism in the sector ultimately led to the end of this collective adventure.

A final musical evening to celebrate together

Before drawing the curtain for the last time, La Boca will host a last big party for its loyal audience. This farewell bash will take place in a supercharged atmosphere:

  • DJs spinning all night long (Zapata, Ibey, Rams, Pat Pacino),

  • Live percussion to make the walls shake,

  • Food stands and cocktails to awaken your senses,

  • Wine cellar and self-service photo booth to toast and capture the moment.
