A Sausage Adventure at Snack O'Clock

Since 2017, La Boîte du Fromager has been a pioneer in turning the wait for Christmas into a culinary experience. To create a delightful surprise, this local business is launching a artisanal sausage advent calendar this year for 24 days of charcuterie pleasure. Inside, you’ll discover 3 whole dry sausages (pure pork, nuts, Cantal) and 84 mini-sausages available in 7 flavors – pure pork, hazelnuts, chorizo, Cantal, olives, truffle, and parmesan – totaling over 820 g to enjoy day by day. It's available in two formats priced at €39.90 or €49.90.

The products are crafted by the Loste and Debroas houses, located near Lyon and renowned for their artisanal expertise. But be careful, there's not enough for everyone: only 1,500 calendars are produced for this first experiment!

The success story of a Bordeaux-based house!

Founded in 2014 by Rébecca Mativet, La Boîte du Fromager has turned good taste into a national adventure. Based in Floirac, with a cheese-laboratory near Rennes, the brand first captivated food lovers with its cheese Advent calendar, launched in 2017 — the very first of its kind in France.

Initially offered in a "one week" version, it is now delivered vacuum-sealed for optimal preservation, and each year it experiences a real wave of popularity. "Last year, we were sold out by mid-November. This year, we're hoping to last a little longer", Rebecca smiles. For 2025, 3,500 cheese calendars are already planned for shipping.

A delicious trio: cheese, wine, and sausage

Next to the new charcuterie addition, the famous cheese advent calendar (crafted by François Bourgon, Best Worker of France) and the wine advent calendar complete the trilogy of winter delights. The first one (at €89.90) offers 24 artisanal cheeses, delivered fresh by Chronofresh, while the second (at €139.90) brings together 12 bottles of 75 cl for a delightful wine journey across France.

From the cellar to the table, La Boîte du Fromager continues to embody the taste of authenticity: artisan products, short supply chains, responsible indulgence, and a joyful spirit to share. Available for pre-order on the site, deliveries will begin at the end of November, just in time to kick off the most delicious countdown of the year.
