Reconnaissance and Explosive Success for Ost Bordeaux

Value doesn’t wait for the number of years, especially for this one-of-a-kind table in the Saint-Pierre neighborhood. Just a year and a half after its opening, OST is already featured in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide. Founded by Sophie Lours and Quentin Le Borgne, OST confirms its unique position with a free table focused on seasonality and respect for the product.

A Creative and Demanding Kitchen

Inspired by their travels and experiences in prestigious establishments (Alain Ducasse for her, Sofitel for him), the founders offer a short menu that changes every two months. There are always 3 individual dishes and 2 sharing dishes (including a large piece of meat) on the menu to encourage a sense of togetherness.

The restaurant, open only in the evenings, welcomes about forty guests in a soft and contemporary atmosphere, designed by two former students of Vatel who nurtured their project for five years.

A 100% French and Genuine Wine Cellar

The OST wine cellar, boasting a hundred references, reflects the same philosophy: an exclusively French selection that mixes classic estates, organic wines, biodynamic wines, or natural wines. Each bottle is chosen to complement the cuisine, based on the sincerity of the wine and the winemaker, without any hierarchy of prestige.

In its ranking, the MICHELIN Guide highlights: "In the kitchen, a young chef offers generous and delicious dishes designed for sharing (for at least two), blending creativity with comfort food vibes. The flavors hit the spot, like the gnocchi with sea urchin complemented by peppery watercress. The starters and desserts are served in individual portions. Warm welcome!

An already essential address in Bordeaux

With this entry into the MICHELIN selection, OST confirms its place in the Bordeaux gastronomic scene. A modern, fluid, and informal approach that prioritizes homemade dishes, short supply chains, and an emotional take on dining. Ost — like “host” in English — has successfully taken on its challenge: to host, share, and celebrate a vibrant cuisine, where time is no longer an issue.

an experience where every plate whispers an inspiring story.
