Arlette Gruss is back in Bordeaux for the 40th Anniversary Tour
The Arlette Gruss troupe announces its grand return to Bordeaux, at the Place des Quinconces at the end of December. Founded in 1985 by Arlette Gruss and her husband, it is now led by their son, Gilbert Gruss. Today, recognized as one of Europe's most prestigious circuses, bringing together 120 artists, musicians, costume designers, and technicians from all corners of the world, the big family presents its 40th anniversary show, touring all across France.
The excellence of circus arts since 1985
What's on the program? Unique and spectacular circus performances (acrobats, clowns, trapeze balancing, motorcycle globe) and equestrian acts (the house's signature). One of the most legendary acts of the Arlette Gruss circus is an equestrian show filled with grace and emotion. Between technical skill and aesthetics, each performance becomes a story.
And the celebration for 40 years is very promising : "An eccentric and improbable character, Destéo, set in his ways and in opposition to those seeking to pursue their aspirations, will try to assert himself through the mastery of time. He will be tossed about by the poetry, humor, and acrobatic performances of the artists. Experience a wildly enlightening adventure that challenges prejudices and the established order. This story is ours, the one that defies time and makes room for dreams." the company specifies in its release.
The Arch - or the famous red and white tent of the Gruss family - will welcome up to 600 guests for its dinner/show evenings.
