Opened two years ago, Nugget has captivated animal lovers with its carefully curated selection of accessories for dogs and cats. From stylishly designed pet beds to elegant collars, clever toys, tasty treats, and leashes and harnesses: every item here is thoughtfully sourced, standing apart from the typical pet shops. “The offering is more similar to what you find at Fleux in Paris,” shares the manager, proudly showcasing a trendy world for four-legged companions and their humans alike.
Truffe Social Club: the new 2025 gem!
Since June 2025, Nugget has welcomed the Truffe Social Club behind its charming Bordeaux courtyard, the first daycare exclusively dedicated to city dogs. Led by Mona, a dog trainer and behaviorist, the daycare offers days filled with games, walks, social moments, and activities in a supervised playroom. “The daycare is designed so that dogs can engage in physical, cognitive, and social activities. The idea is for them to have stories to share when they get home,” smiles Mona.
It's €30 for a half-day and €40 for a full-day, with discounted packages available. Pet owners just bring their furry friend's kibble, and the facility takes care of the rest. The daycare is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with early or extended drop-off options to fit the urban lifestyle.

Grooming and Coffee: The Perfect Pair
In addition to the shop and daycare, Nugget offers a grooming service in a charming vaulted cellar. Dogs and cats can enjoy anything from a simple wash, nail trimming, to a full grooming session. The place has even specialized in grooming cockers, which are quite popular in Bordeaux. Private lessons are also available to teach pet owners how to take care of their furry friends at home.
In the meantime, owners can cozy up at the attached café with a warm drink or a fresh juice. And because everyone is invited to the party at Nugget, the dogs also get to enjoy their special treat menu, featuring things like coconut milk or salmon ice mousse and doggy donuts.
