The first Harry Potter hotel in the world is going to open in Europe just a few hours from Bordeaux!

Wizards and witches from all over Europe, get ready! After years of envying the Americans and the Japanese with their theme parks dedicated to the most famous wizard, it's our turn to shine. A brand new Harry Potter land is set to open at the gates of France, and even better, its opening coincides with the launch of the first hotel completely dedicated to our bespectacled hero.

As a true Potterhead, you've surely dreamed of wandering through the halls of Hogwarts, strolling the streets of Hogsmeade, and sleeping in the Hufflepuff common room—the most stylish one with its plants and abundant food—basically living your well-deserved wizard life. Unfortunately, until now, indulging in this fantasy required selling a kidney and an arm just to afford the trip to Florida or East Asia. That’s all about to change; soon, all you’ll need to do is hop on a train!


Double dose of happiness

A few months ago, we were delighted to learn that a new Universal park, the first in Europe, is set to open its doors across the Channel, just a few kilometers north of London. A fabulous n...new, since the company manages, among other things, the franchise Wizarding World. But just as good news never comes alone, this week, a second park based on the Harry Potter universe has been announced.

This time, we're off to Germany, for a concept that's a little different. Indeed, this time it’s not a “classic” park, but rather a new area dedicated within Legoland Germany. To keep it simple, Legoland is a huge amusement park, where everything is made from, you guessed it, Lego. And since Harry Potter has been one of their flagship collections for years, it made perfect sense for them to finally give it a piece of the park!


Nights filled with magic

To add an extra dose of fun (and of course magic), the park has announced the opening of a hotel with the same theme. Not only can we bring out our best pajamas Christmas to sleep in Ron's bed (Croutard option not guaranteed), but on top of that, this establishment will be the first dedicated to the saga IN THE WORLD ! According to Peter van Roden, vice-president of Warner Bros Discovery Global Experiences, the place is set to be absolutely fantastic: “This new thematic area will allow fans to immerse themselves in the familiar world of LEGO Harry Potter, which they have been building for years, and to experience the Wizarding World like never before. ” For now, no opening date has been announced, but one thing is for sure, we’re really, really excited to go there.
