Fans of the bespectacled wizard now have their HQ in Bordeaux. Opened in November 2024, Lily Ray de Lune is more than just a shop: it’s a secret passage into the world of magic, designed to bring together the Potterhead community, nestled just a stone’s throw away from the city hall.
A Diagon Alley in the Heart of Bordeaux
Easily spotted from the street thanks to its Nimbus 2000 that kids hop on for a quick photo, this 70 m² shop whisks you away into a setting right out of Diagon Alley. You enter through a telephone booth as if stepping into the Ministry of Magic, discover animated players in the midst of a Quidditch match, and follow the train that travels throughout the store. It’s a vibrant and immersive world brought to life by Frédéric, the founder, who is passionate about alchemy, English history, and the esoteric references that inspire the saga.

Over 2,800 official references
The shop exclusively sells officially licensed products. It's a true magical cave with over 2,800 items, including some unique pieces: like autographed and numbered photos, collector's items, and rare wands.
The themes are grouped into families : Enchanted Treats (Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Potions, Butterbeer), a complete collection of official wands that you can touch and hold, collectibles (Cups, figurines, mythical artifacts), stationery, games, magical dishware, wizard clothing and accessories, including cozy blankets and cushions... The prices are as varied as Ollivander’s inventory : from a pen at €0.95 to a rare photo for over €500.

The Bordeaux Temple for Potterheads
Lily Ray de Lune is a true place of sharing, vibrant with a manager as knowledgeable as she is enchanting, able to quote every spell or detail from the books and films. A spot where fans can exchange, debate, and deepen their understanding of J.K. Rowling's work.
Free events mark the seasons: themed quizzes, guided readings, gatherings of enthusiasts... Here, magic comes alive in many forms. "The idea is to be able to share and discover different perspectives on this fantastic work," the director shares with us.

A place for young and old
Designed as a local shop full of wonder, the store embraces advice, friendliness, and sharing. “It's essential for us to bring magic to the people of Bordeaux,” shares Frédéric. And soon, Lily Ray de Lune will even offer children's birthday parties.
