The next electrifying bingo event is one to mark in your calendars! This initiative comes from the queer collective of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, which is dedicated to creating inclusive and welcoming spaces for celebration, while also supporting social and public health causes. For the past two years, they have been blending activist commitment with festive moments, placing special emphasis on the visibility of queer artists and local solidarity.
A Supportive Afternoon
From 3 PM to 6:30 PM, the Jardin Pêcheur will host its traditional big charity bingo. Just like in the previous two editions, which gathered between 150 and 200 people, participants will try their luck at winning many fantastic prizes. All proceeds will be donated to the Ligue contre le cancer de la Gironde as part of October Rose, a national campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer screening.
A queer and festive night
The evening will start off gently at 7 PM with a concert by Mey, a violinist and multi-instrumentalist. Her hybrid universe, swinging between classical and contemporary sounds, promises a suspended moment until 9 PM. From 10 PM, get ready for energy and sparkle: DJ Tâta Lowe will kick off the dancing with a fiery set, highlighted by a drag show featuring Medee & Mofwaze, stars of the Bordeaux queer scene. At midnight, DJ Kamu will take over until 2 AM to wrap up the evening on an electrifying and unifying note.
