On Saturday, May 17, 2025, as part of the European Night of Museums, the CAPC contemporary art museum of Bordeaux flings its doors wide open for a magical evening. From 6 PM to 1:30 AM, the former warehouse transforms into the stage for a giant cosmic ball, blending art, music, and constellations.

A free night, open to everyone, under the sign of the stars

The COSMOBAL invites kids and adults alike to don their celestial outfits — glitter, moons, stars, and meteors are on the agenda — for a total immersion experience. First up are the COSMOKIDS: starting at 6 PM, a giant dance party hosted by l’IBOAT, along with makeup workshops, storytelling, coloring activities, and fun explorations take over the hall and terraces.

An ambitious and galactic lineup

Starting at 8 PM, the celebration takes flight with a series of performances spread throughout the museum. Mathilde Fernandez will kick things off with an intimate piano and voice concert. The artist Adam Christensen (also known as Madam) will then take the stage with a poetic cabaret in three acts. And Zoé Williams will put a twist on the concept of a feast in The Fools, a baroque and critical performance.

When the Night Shifts...

Starting at 9:30 PM, COSMOBAL takes off! Eddie Peake presents The Pervert, delivering a dense and theatrical emotional performance. Before the engaging live show by Planningtorock sets the dance floors ablaze, an inclusive wild parade led by OKILÉ x Folie Nocturne celebrates diversity. And to wrap up the evening, the DJ set by Londoners Anal House Meltdown will turn the museum into a cosmic dancefloor.

A Cultural and Festive Journey

With its exhibitions open all evening, its cascade of performances, and its joyous atmosphere, this event is sure to be a delight!
