La Cassette, the new trendy party spot in downtown Bordeaux
Located in the heart of Bordeaux, La Cassette promises to become a new festive hangout. Brought to life by the former owners of Coco Loko, this revamped venue marks a radical shift. Completely refreshed after the closure of its predecessor last January, weakened by anti-LGBT assaults and harassment, the place is reborn with a clear ambition: to restore the celebration its rightful glory, in an inclusive and joyfully quirky setting.
Here, you're the DJ!
The bar offers a unique concept in Bordeaux: music on demand. Thanks to a partnership with Spotify, customers become the DJs of the night, selecting their own tracks to get the dance floor buzzing. What's on the playlist? A mix of classic hits, international pop, French varieties, and generational anthems to create a lively and unifying atmosphere.
Nostalgia, here we come!
The decor is a bold nod to the 90s and 2000s: colorful neon lights, arcade machines, foosball, video games, and retro touches create a setting that’s both nostalgic and festive. Every evening from 9 PM to 2 AM, from Tuesday to Sunday, the place comes alive! In addition to its participatory musical concept, La Cassette offers a lineup of themed nights. Thursdays feature the 80s and 90s; Saturdays are all about lookalikes; and Sundays are huge open mic nights for a giant karaoke where anything goes.
More than just a bar, La Cassette dreams of being a lively hangout, a space where you can dance, where you can sing, and where you choose your soundtrack. It's an invitation to a free and shared party that breaks all the rules.
