A Liquidation with No Going Back
The announcement came on June 11, 2025: Casa France is entering judicial liquidation due to a lack of buyers. The commercial court of Bobigny is set to confirm this decision on June 27. As a result of this process, nearly 700 employees will lose their jobs, and the 143 French stores of the chain will permanently close their doors.
Founded in 1975, Casa was long a familiar sight in European home furnishings, offering decoration and garden products at affordable prices. However, the bankruptcy of its Belgian parent company last March, weakened by the slowdown in the real estate market and the rise of e-commerce, dealt a fatal blow to the organization.

For several weeks now, these locations have been part of a large clearance operation, before the showcases are completely empty.
