In urology, the Bordeaux clinic clinches the 72nd place worldwide and climbs to 4th place nationally, once again as the only French private institution listed.
3 Bordeaux specialties recognized worldwide
Cardiology completes this triple ranking. Saint-Augustin ranks at 106th place worldwide and 11th place in France, while being the leading French private institution listed in this specialty.
A triple recognition that honors historic disciplines of the clinic. Established in Bordeaux since 1955, the facility now offers more than 30 medical and surgical specialties, with particularly developed expertise in cardiology, cardiac surgery,
urology and ENT.
A ranking established by healthcare professionals
Created by Newsweek in partnership with the Statista institute, the global ranking of best specialized hospitals is based on an international survey conducted among healthcare professionals, as well as accreditation data, certifications, and indicators related to patient experience and reported outcomes.
For Clinique Saint-Augustin, this new appearance on the podium confirms a presence already noted in the previous edition: in 2025, it notably ranked at 59th place
world ranking in cardiac surgery and 67th in urology.« Behind these rankings, there are above all dedicated teams working with our patients every single day », emphasizes Caroline Herpe-Foucher, director of the Saint-Augustin Clinic, who sees in these distinctions the recognition of the collective work carried out by the Bordeaux teams.
