Organized during FAB, this world premiere will bring together for the first time 9 cabarets from Nouvelle-Aquitaine and 4 dance schools, under the coordination of L'Ange Bleu. Two free performances will punctuate the afternoon, at 3pm and 5pm.
The Miroir d'Eau transformed into a giant cabaret
Feathers, petticoats and high kicks will take over one of Bordeaux's most iconic settings. For 3 minutes and 15 seconds, the performers will attempt to set the record for the greatest number of artists participating simultaneously in a French Cancan.
Following that, a second challenge will be launched: performing as many cartwheels as possible in 30 seconds. The performances will be carried out under the watchful eye of an official in view of verification by Guinness World Records.

A whole open-air cabaret
Before the grand finale, Place de la Bourse will take on the airs of a music hall. Brass bands, DJ sets, singers, magicians, burlesque artists and acrobats will compose a deliberately stage-free prelude, designed to captivate passersby around the quays.
The event is part of the Cabaret Season, initiated and supported by the Ministry of Culture, and the programming of the International Festival of the Arts of Bordeaux Metropole, organized from September 26 to October 10, 2026.

Their signature? Bringing art out of the concert halls and planting it where you least expect it: around a street corner, in a square, by the water, or in the heart of nature. Among the other highlights of this edition are notably Ravel in the City, featuring the 90 musicians of the National Orchestra Bordeaux Aquitaine, as well as several world premieres and international debuts.
